Transplant Australia

 

Description

Transplant Australia is an organisation representing transplant recipients, people currently undergoing dialysis treatment, those awaiting transplantation, donor families and medical professionals involved in organ and tissue donation and transplantation. The organisation aims to lead the work in organ and tissue donation and transplantation to save lives and improve the quality of life for their members. Transplant Australia works in the areas of advocacy, awareness and support. Their objectives are to:

The Australian Organ and Tissue Authority is a major sponsor of Transplant Australia and the Australian Sports Commission is a principal partner of the organisation. The Transplant Australia website provides information on membership, news, donor groups, events, fund raising and other services.
