Centre for Kidney Research (CKR)

 

Description

The Centre for Kidney Research is situated at Westmead's Children's Hospital in New South Wales. The Centre consists of a group of researchers, doctors, scientists, nurses, and administration staff, working towards the goal of improving kidney health. Research carried out at the Centre aims to provide insight into new treatments, methods of diagnosis, prevention, and the enhancement of the quality of life of children and adults with, or at risk of, kidney disease. This work is supported by the Government through the National Health and Medical Research Council, by the hospital, and by generous support from the community.
