Cancer Council ACT

 

Description

The Cancer Council ACT is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation that seeks to promote a healthier community by reducing the incidence and impact of cancer in the ACT region. The services offered by the Council include: a cancer information service; a cancer prevention and early detection program; a supportive care service; and research grants. The work undertaken by the Cancer Council ACT is largely dependent on donations from the ACT community and fundraising initiatives.
