Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council (ADAC)

 

Description

The Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council's mission is to ensure the development of effective programs to reduce harm related to substance use in Aboriginal communities. This aim is to be carried out in such a way as to:

  1. promote and foster pride, dignity, identity and achievement in Aboriginal society
  2. advocate and actively pursue the philosophy and principles of Aboriginal spiritual, cultural, social, economic and political re-empowerment, self-determination and self-management.
