The Warlpiri Youth Development Aboriginal Corporation originated from the Mt Theo program, started by Yuendumu Community in 1993 to address chronic petrol sniffing in Yuendumu. The organisation aims to provide a comprehensive program of youth development and leadership, diversion, respite, rehabilitation, and aftercare throughout the Warlpiri region. The programs and services provided work to facilitate the strength and capacity of Warlpiri youth to meet challenges such as substance use.
