Nyoongar Outreach Services

 

Description

Nyoongar Outreach Services is a Western Australian (WA) organisation that provides an outreach service to Indigenous people in WA.

Nyoongar Outreach Services provides early street level interventions to local and remote Indigenous people frequenting public spaces in the areas of Burswood, Fremantle, Midland, Northbridge, the Northern Corridor, the South-Eastern Corridor and Vincent. Target groups are people at risk of coming into contact with the criminal justice system due to various social and welfare issues.

Services and activities of the organisation include:

Nyoongar Outreach Services coordinate the only night and day Indigenous patrol services that provides outreach support outside the traditional working hours to nominated locations in the Perth metropolitan area.
