Apunipima Cape York Health Council is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation, primary health care service provider and lead agency representing a holistic approach to health issues in the Cape York Region. Its aim is to 'support Cape York communities own solutions to live long healthy lives, strengthening our culture and regaining our spirit'.

Apunipima Cape York Health Council provides services which include:

• health action teams which visit local communities
• programs focusing on

  • maternal and child health
  • patient transport feasibility
  • community control.
