Optometry Giving Sight is a global fundraising initiative that specifically targets the prevention of blindness and impaired vision due to uncorrected refractive error - simply the need for an eye exam and a pair of glasses.

This organisation supports programs that deliver:

• vision care - eye exams, low-cost eye glasses and low-vision devices
• training - of optometrists, eye care personnel and their teachers
• infrastructure development - establishment and support of vision centres, eye clinics and schools of optometry.
