Statewide Respiratory Clinical Network

Description

The Statewide Respiratory Clinical Network was established in 2008 to improve clinical practice and provide expertise, direction and advice in relation to respiratory care, current issues and service provision in Queensland. Key areas of respiratory health the Network has identified include:

Members include medical practitioners, nurses, allied health workers, community health workers, general practice and non-government organisations.

The Network incorporates a steering committee for leadership direction, a reference group to provide advice and support to the steering committee and working groups which focus on specific areas of respiratory health. The network also organises bi-annual forums to exchange information, prioritise current respiratory issues and advise on strategies to address respiratory issues.

The Network supports a bulletin, published quarterly.
