Overview

The Australia Respiratory Council supports initiatives in research and the prevention and treatment of respiratory conditions. Funds are available for research that is relevant to tuberculosis, respiratory diseases due to other infections, and respiratory disease related to tobacco use. Support is provided through the Harry Windsor research grants scheme. Funding priorities are aimed in particular at disadvantaged groups at national and international levels.
