Youth Off The Streets - Scholarships for young people

The Youth Off The Streets scholarship program celebrates the gifts and strengths of young people from the Australian community who exhibit determination and potential but who lack the personal support networks and resources that will allow them to fulfill that potential. Scholarships are provided of $5,000 each to pursue further education, training or development so that they may realise their dreams for a positive future.

Nominees are not restricted to a specific field of study or training path. The wide-ranging goals they pursue will encourage other disadvantaged young people to follow their own dreams. These dreams may range from being able to finish high school education or completing a course to furthering music or sporting talent or attending dance and acting training. Scholarship recipients will be matched with a mentor in their local community to ensure that along with their financial contribution, they receive the support and encouragement to achieve success.
