Aurizon community giving fund

Overview

The Aurizon community giving fund program was established by Aurizon, one of Australia's biggest rail freight companies, to provide relevant and sustainable support to communities in the areas of health and wellbeing, community safety, environment and education. All applications must fit within at least one of these funding categories to be eligible for consideration. Over the past three years, Aurizon grants have helped over 120 community groups in regional and rural Australia to help others. Grants range from $1,000 to a maximum of $20,000. To be eligible for cash grants, applicants must be not-for-profit organisations that hold an approved deductible gift recipient (DGR) status charity (Item 1) from the Australian Tax Office.

Grants are provided twice a year around April and October.
