AMA Indigenous Peoples' medical scholarship

 

Overview

This scholarship is offered by the Australian Medical Association (AMA) and is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are currently studying medicine. To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled at an Australian medical school, be in at least their first year of medicine, and be of Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background.

The value of the scholarship is $10,000 per year for the duration of the course. Applications usually close at the end of January each year.
