Postgraduate scholarship in the economics of Indigenous health

Overview

Applications are invited for a full-time postgraduate scholarship leading to the degree of doctor of philosophy in public health. Funded by the Poche Centre for Indigenous Research, this scholarship will be conducted at The George Institute for Global Health.

The successful candidate will be involved in the economic analyses of health programs across numerous areas including cardiovascular disease, oral health, tobacco control and adolescent health; as well as contribute to a program of methodological research to develop tools to appropriately assess the benefits of public health programs to individuals and communities.

The scholarship is valued at $26,000 per annum (tax exempt) and may be renewed for up to three years subject to satisfactory progress. A top-up scholarship may be available for successful candidate.
