INTRAIN scholarships

 

Overview

INTRAIN scholarships are offered to Victorian Indigenous people to assist them to complete degrees and diplomas in the areas of health, allied health and the community sector. The aim is to improve the general health and wellbeing of the Indigenous Victorian community by increasing participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in this sector.

Indigenous training and recruitment initiative (INTRAIN) scholarships were introduced to improve the diversity and responsiveness of the Victorian public, health and community sector by increasing employment outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

INTRAIN scholarships will assist eligible full time or part time students to study by providing a fortnightly living allowance to:

Priority will be given to those undertaking undergraduate, postgraduate, diplomas and certificate IV studies in the areas of health, allied health and human services.
