Standing strong together Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health award

Overview

The Standing strong together award is presented by the RACGP national faculty of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health to any Fellow or member of the RACGP and any Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who, in the opinion of the awards committee, have collaborated to produce substantial outcomes in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health. Nominations are open to all Fellows and members of the RACGP and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Australia.

The award is a grant of $5000 to be used for the purposes of providing an educational opportunity for the recipients or to continue their work. The RACGP will fund the cost of the winners' return economy class airfare and one night's accommodation to attend the academic session, fellowship and awards ceremony.
