Overview

Western Australian nurses and midwives are being encouraged to apply for one of six fellowships worth up to $20,000 each.

The fellowships can be used to help nurses and midwives visit and learn from other healthcare sites, fund a practice improvement or small research project or support them to take time off work to complete their masters or PhD thesis.
The six nursing and midwifery fellowships are:

• Aboriginal Health
• Advancing the Midwifery Profession (previously known as Midwifery)
• Advancing the Nursing Profession (previously known as Helen Bailey)
• Global Health (previously known as International Outreach)
• Nursing and Midwifery Leadership (previously known as Margaret J Watson)
• Responding to Major Events / Disruptions (previously known as Bali Memorial)
