Charlie Perkins scholarship

Overview

The Charlie Perkins Scholarships give students the opportunity to become leaders, not only in their field but in the broader community. The Scholarships are offered for study at either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom and are particularly directed towards Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians who have the potential to become leaders in their field of study and in their communities.

A panel of prominent Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians, together with a representative of the British Government and Cambridge Australia Scholarships, select the Charlie Perkins Scholars each year.
