Overview

The Bupa Health Foundation looks to fund new initiatives that provide a clear benefit to the Australian community each year. The Foundation's funding objectives are to promote health research, health education and programs for leading healthy lives. A partnership approach is taken with regards to all investments, and the aim is to fund initiatives from $100,000 to $500,000 for up to three years to improve health outcomes for all Australians.

Organisations eligible to receive funding for their initiative must be either a:

• university or research institute
• charitable and not-for-profit organisation
• community group
• incorporated association (community or industry)
• co-operative
• company limited by guarantee.

Current funding opportunities relate to the strategic areas of:

• wellbeing
• chronic disease
• healthy ageing
• empowering people about their health
• promoting affordable healthcare.
