The University of Sydney - Herbert and Valmae Freilich scholarship for Indigenous Australian medical students

Overview

This scholarship was established in 2006 to assist Indigenous students with their medical studies. The scholarship is available to candidates for the degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery who identify as Indigenous students (under the conditions set out by the University's Koori Centre). The scholarship is valued at $5,000, although from time to time will be adjusted to maximise the value of the scholarship without reducing the real value of the capital.

Application details: Applications close 31 March each year.
