Australian disability and Indigenous peoples' education fund

Overview

The Australian disability and Indigenous peoples' education fund provides students with small grants to support their learning. The fund was established in May 2009.

People with a disability across Australia are invited to apply for grants. The fund is particularly keen to help indigenous Australians. But non-indigenous people are also welcome to apply.

For many, a small financial grant will enable them to undertake a course. The Australian disability and Indigenous peoples' education fund helps people complete or undertake courses and programs through providing small grants.

The Australian disability and Indigenous peoples' education fund aims to distribute small six monthly grants of up to $2,500 to assist people with disabilities to continue their learning.

People with disabilities of any age may apply for any assistance to help with both formal and informal education. While people may need assistance to complete the application, we would like a letter in the persons own words telling us why they want to learn.

Application details: Refer to the information page (see link below).
