Certificate in sexual and reproductive health (nursing)

 

Overview

Target audience: Nurses with at least two years experience, wishing to develop a sound understanding of core sexual and reproductive health issues

Course summary: This is a nationally recognised post-graduate course. It provides detailed knowledge and specialist clinical skills in sexual and reproductive health.

The course consists of a theory component and a clinical practicum. The theory component has been reformatted to make it more accessible for regional and remote nurses. The modules can be completed in a face-to-face block within two weeks, or as separate modules in any order over a two year period. Some modules are available online. Recognition of Prior Learning/Current Competence will be considered.
