Trachoma module - RAHC introduction to remote health practice program

 

Overview

Target audience: Health professionals delivering care within primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Course summary: This interactive module aims to orientate participants to eye health within the remote Northern Territory (NT) context, with a particular focus on issues relevant to trachoma within remote communities. The module is aimed at helping the health professional become better acquainted with and more aware of these issues, with a view to providing direction for clinical application as well as areas for future learning. On completion of the module the health professional should be able to:
