Overview

Target audience: Dietitians working in all areas of practice including clinical, community, public health, and private practice, students and lecturers.

Course summary: This course provides dietitians with the introductory concepts of the Nutrition Care process (NCP) and the International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology (IDNT) through to implementation into dietitians daily practices. Course content includes:

• identification of the major features of NCP and IDNT
• usage of NCP and IDNT resources to develop appropriate PESS statements
• demonstrating use of the NCP and IDNT with a variety of dietetic cases
