Certificate IV in mental health

 

Overview

Target audience: People working in mental health who want to obtain a Certificate IV qualification but need to continue working

Course summary: This qualification will provide participants with the practical skills and knowledge to provide support and services to enhance the quality of life, and meet the needs of individuals accessing mental health services. Units cover:

Participants learn about the mental health sector and issues facing those with a mental health disorder. As part of this qualification participants will undertake a supervised work placement where they will be able to apply the skills and knowledge they have learned. The course is offered as a night-time course on a part-time basis.
