Overview

This two day symposium is being run by the Kulunga Research Network at the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research. The symposium will provide an opportunity to improve knowledge in key areas of child and maternal health and network with other Aboriginal Health Workers from across the state.

Themes of the conference include:

• Maternal health and wellbeing
• Infant and child health and development
• Adolescent wellbeing
• Mental health and wellbeing
• Nutrition and healthy lifestyle
• Alcohol, smoking and other drugs
• Health promotion

HealthInfoNet Cafe

HealthInfoNet staff member Ineke Krom ran a HealthInfoNet cafe on the first day of this conference. HealthInfoNet Director Neil Thomson ran a workshop on the second day, with assistance from Ineke Krom.
