Through our Eyes - Linking Narrative Therapy to Social and Emotional Wellbeing Practice

Overview

The purpose of this workshop is to provide an introduction to the main principles of narrative therapy, as a wellbeing practice among alcohol and other drug (AOD) clients in Queensland (Qld).

The practice is designed to support clinicians during assessment and counselling, allowing them to provide culturally appropriate strategies when working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The workshop is aimed at government and non-government workers.

The training is an initiative of Insight, an organisation that provides AOD training and workforce development in Qld.
