Kambarang Spring Festival 2008

Overview

The Kambarang Spring Festival is an annual open-day at Kurongkurl Katitjin (KK), School of Indigenous Australian Studies, Edith Cowan University, Perth. Kambarang is the Noongar word for 'spring'. The festival enables people (mostly school students) to explore the various opportunities that Kurongkurl Katitjin can provide for beginning or extending their studies, and to explore KK’s entry pathways to university.

HealthInfoNet Cafe

On 21 October 2008 Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet staff members ran a stand at the event to promote the organisation's services. Other stands offered information on health issues, career guidance and Indigenous cultural aspects.
