Overview

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Healing Foundation Development Team is inviting community members and organisations to participate in workshops focused on the process of healing. Workshops will be the start of public consultation and will be held in urban, regional and remote locations. Community organisations will discuss what is required to support the process of healing. Workshops will be held in:

• Western Australia
  • Broome, 18 August 2009
  • Perth, 19 August 2009
    

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Healing Foundation's aim is to address the cycle of trauma and grief in Indigenous communities, particularly those relating to the Stolen Generation. The Foundation will support holistic and innovative healing and provide community services.
