Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander reference group pre-conference workshop

 

Overview

The title of this workshop is Multi sectorial partnerships to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

This workshop will focus on and celebrate the success stories which are occurring in programs all over Australia across a wide variety of government and non-government sectors. It will highlight the links between the traditional health sectors and non-health sectors, and review programs which have led to positive health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. Participants will be invited to discuss their own success stories and the workshop will allow for multi sectoral networking and collaboration.

This pre-conference workshop is part of the 22nd national Australian Health Promotion Association conference and 18th Chronic Diseases Network conference.

Abstract submissions close Friday 2 May 2014.

Early bird registrations close Friday 4 July 2014.
