Crime prevention and communities: building better local solutions

Overview

This conference, Building better local solutions, will inform local government, urban planners, policy makers, police, criminologists, non-government community organisations, researchers and students to improve practice, policies and evaluation in crime prevention.

The conference is hosted by the Australian Institute of Criminology and the Victorian Department of Justice, in collaboration with Victoria Police.

Organisers are looking for best practice, best policy, best research underpinnings and best evaluation from contributors across a range of crime prevention projects and programs to inform an international audience.
