National hepatitis health promotion conference

Hepatitis Australia is organising this conference. The theme for the conference is Breaking through the barriers. The conference will explore the many barriers faced by those working in the viral hepatitis health promotion sector and demonstrate programs, projects and practices that have addressed these barriers and delivered successful health promotion projects.

The primary aim of the conference is to contribute to the national strategies by supporting the community-based viral hepatitis workforce to increase their knowledge and skills to effectively reach and engage with identified priority populations and to plan, implement and evaluate successful viral hepatitis health promotion projects.

The secondary aim of the conference is to encourage and create a supportive environment for viral hepatitis community workers to present an abstract of their health promotion projects and initiatives at the conference.
