The National Aboriginal Ear and Hearing Health Skill Set training is open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and is being delivered by RTO members of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Regional Training Organisation Network (ATSIHRTONN).
Entry level to register for this training is the AHW-PHC Certificate 111. The National Skill Set consists of the following units of competencies and must be undertaken as a skill set.
HLTAHW418B: Provide information and strategies in ear and hearing health
HLTAU402D: Conduct screening hearing tests for industrial hearing loss
HLTAU501D: Conduct screening hearing tests for children
