Overview

The theme for the 2013 Inaugural Australian Psychological Society (APS) health psychology conference is Improving community and individual health. The conference will feature two days of:

• keynote presentations
• individual research papers, posters, and symposia
• half-day workshops, including a workshop titled Working with Indigenous people to better health outcomes
• peer supervision sessions.

The conference will provide psychologists with an opportunity to gather continuing professional development hours, network with colleagues, and hear about recent research in clinical health psychology and health promotion.
