Survival Day events
Overview
On Saturday 26 January, community Survival Day events will be held around the country to celebrate the continuing importance of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and peoples. Activities will showcase culture, and may include marches, food, the chance to speak to others, concerts, and festivals.
The Congress of Australia's First Peoples Co-Chairs, Directors, Delegates, Members and staff will proudly have a presence at major events in capital cities.
The following events will be held:
- Adelaide Survival Day concert
Mullawirraburka (Rymill Park, next to Tandanya; 253 Grenfell St) (11:00 am - 7:00 pm)
- Brisbane Invasion Day rally and march
Queensland State Parliament (10:00 am)
