Overview

The Macleay Valley Sports Foundation in conjunction with Office of Communities - Sport and Recreation, Kempsey Council, Kempsey PCYC, Mission Australia, the Macleay Active Youth Movement and Dunghutti Youth and Culture in celebration of NAIDOC week are conducting primary and high school traditional Indigenous games gala days in Kempsey in June 2012.

Participants will:

• gain an understanding of traditional Indigenous games
• share in a cultural activity designed to promote reconciliation and understanding.

Dates:

• 27 June 2012 primary gala day at Willawarrin Sports Grounds
• 28 June 2012 high school gala day at Verge Street Oval, Kempsey
• 29 June 2012 primary school gala day at Verge Street Oval Kempsey
