Overview

The aim of the conference is to Turn ideas into action, through establishing an innovative platform for idea generation and creating strong networks to build the Future Health Leaders membership base. This conference brings together 400 delegates from across Australia with a unique mix of backgrounds, disciplines and experiences, the conference will provide delegates with an opportunity to initiate ideas, confront challenges and explore possible solutions for Australia's future health system.

Over the two day program, delegates will explore global, national and local perspectives on health issues through plenary, workshop and facilitated sessions. Delegates will select a stream of interest including: rural health, global health, Indigenous health, mental health and health workforce innovation. Delegates will have access to a large opportunities summit which will showcase opportunities for students and early career health professionals, as well as providing testimonials from people who have worked or studied somewhere out of the ordinary.
