Overview

Our story - six sisters of the Stolen Generation is a film by John McMullan that tells the story of the Warrell sisters from Moora. George Walley Madjitil Moorna music director will open the evening and introduce Rev Sealin Garlett who will offer a Welcome to Country. Gina Williams, guest musician, will sing prior to the screening. The Bringing Them Home Committee Co Convenors Jim Morrison and Ian Robinson along with film maker John McMullan and guest Vera Warrell will be invited to provide comment at the end of the film.

Funded by the Department of Indigenous Affairs and supported by the Bringing Them Home Committee (WA), the event is being held during National Reconciliation week 2012, a week to learn about shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can join in the national reconciliation effort.
