These updated guidelines were developed by Kidney Health Australia, for the appropriate management of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in a general practice setting. The guidelines are formally endorsed by the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners, the Australian and New Zealand Society Of Nephrology, and Kidney Health Australia. The aim of this edition of the Chronic kidney disease management in general practice booklet is to provide guidance and clinical tips to practitioners and nurses to help identify, manage and refer CKD in practice.
