A live interactive panel discussion will be broadcast by the Rural Health Education Foundation, chaired by Dr Norman Swan on Tuesday 24th July, 2012. Viewers will be able to find out how primary health care teams can play a key role in consumer awareness and initiate discussion around screening as well as providing multidisciplinary treatment and care of bowel cancer patients.
Program participants include: Dr Cameron Bell, Director of Bowel Cancer Australia; Adjunct Professor John Bronger OAM, Pharmacist; Dr Sally Cockburn, General Practitioner and Health Advocate; Miss Tammy Farrell, Reigistered Nurse and Consultant Nutritionist; and Associate Professor James St John AM, Gastroenterologist.
