Apply now for Indigenous sport and physical activity funding

Do you want to run a sport or active recreation activity that helps to improve the health and physical wellbeing of Indigenous Australians? Will the activity also offer broad social benefits to the Indigenous people that participate?

Submissions are now being sought for the Indigenous sport and active recreation program (ISARP), a Commonwealth funding scheme. The program helps to close the life expectancy gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians by providing more opportunities for sport and physical activity among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Funding is available from ISARP to help with the cost of:
