A group of young performers and health workers are using their artistic skills to teach young Pilbara people about leading a healthy lifestyle. Award winning Indigenous playwright, David Milroy, is using his latest play Good lovin to promote the message of safe sex and respectful relationships to youth in the Pilbara region.
The play includes a cast of four Indigenous West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) graduates which take the audience on a 30 minute journey into the lives of young people, promoting the safe sex and self-respect message through comedy, hip-hop dancing and rap music.
