The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia (the Board) has released a consultation paper on proposed registration standards for:
In addition, the Board is consulting on draft standards in relation to grandparenting provisions, eligibility for registration and the requirement that Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health practitioners need to be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
The Board is currently asking for people to read the standards and provide feedback by 10 October 2011. The Board is interested in comments from a wide range of stakeholders and believes that your feedback will be critical to informing the final draft standards which will be submitted for approval later in 2011.
