Australia's first waterproof hearing aid lets water-obsessed Australians hear the sounds they love

Australian Hearing has unveiled the Siemens Aquaris first fully waterproof hearing aid. It will allow users to swim and shower while wearing a hearing aid and this new technology gives Australians who are hearing impaired the opportunity to hear clearly in situations they have previously been restricted. The hearing aid is designed for wet, humid or dusty environments, no longer placing limitations on where hearing impaired people can and cannot wear their aid. It has the potential to have a significant impact on the lives of many hearing impaired Australians.
