Up to 15 changes to Western Australia's Tobacco Products Control Act 2006 are up for consideration in a recently released Department of Health discussion paper. The paper lists a number of options for amendments to the legislation, which will form the basis for consultation with key stakeholders and the community. The review into the Tobacco Products Control Act 2006 is part of a legislative requirement to review and report on the operation and effectiveness of the act after four years in operation.
