Minimum alcohol price a must, says Gooda

Date posted: 12 April 2011

Indigenous Social Justice Commissioner Mick Gooda is lobbying for a minimum alcohol price in the Northern Territory. Last week, the Territory Government introduced proposed liquor laws to Parliament with the aim of cracking down on problem drinkers. Mr Gooda says the proposals are a step in the right direction but alcohol needs to be more expensive.
