RANZCP develops new resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) has launched new online resources to support the work of health professionals and improve knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health care.

The resources include a new web page, as well as four competency based training and Continuing Professional Development modules addressing key factors to be considered when engaging with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities.

The modules including information on interviewing, developing mental health plans, formulation of a case study, and review of mental health service delivery in an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander community.
