Two organisations in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales have won awards for leadership in Aboriginal communities. The Deadly Sista Girlz recieved the prize for thier work encouraging women's health and wellbeing, while Mr Robert Water recieved the prize for his contribution towards empowering his community. The minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Mr Paul Lynch said that the recipients deserved to be congratulated and acknowledged that the awards recognise the strong efforts of Indigenous people across the state.
