Dr Mark Loane talks on radio about his work as an ophthalmologist in north Queensland Indigenous communities

Most people will remember Mark Loane as a formidable rugby union player with the Wallabies, but Dr Mark Loane AM, is a dedicated ophthalmologist, who has worked to improve the eyesight of rural, remote and Indigenous communities.

Yesterday he received the honorary degree of Doctor of Griffith University.
