A new study conducted in the Kimberley region of Western Australia identifies several risk factors for dementia for Indigenous Australians living in remote communties. Western Australian Centre for Health and Ageing's Dr Kate Smith highlights the need to address risk factors including smoking, head injury, chronic disease, and education for people in these communities, in order to reduce the rate of dementia.
